Managing Director at Accenture Song leading the Digital Sales & Commerce Practice for South East Asia, Zain was previously Head of Singapore Post e-Commerce helping clients enable end to end ecommerce journeys from building their platforms (Magento/SFCC/Hybris/ Shopify), integrating them onto Marketplaces (Lazada, Shopee, ZALORA, etc), Managing Demand Generation (Marketing, Store operations & Commercial planning) to Demand Fulfilment (Warehousing, Last Mile and Operational SOPs). Prior to SPeC, Zain was incharge of digital transformation at Creador to bring their portfolio companies online with Ecommerce as well as incorporate omni-channel initiatives. Prior to that he was involved in building Lazada Malaysia (part of Alibaba Group), 11 street in Malaysia and Managing Director in Pakistan for Rocket Internets Asia venture Daraz to position the company for its acquisition by Alibaba Group. Zain started his E-commerce journey back in 2012 as part of the founding team for Rocket Internet's South East Asia e-commerce venture ZALORA where he worked with regional countries in Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines and Vietnam.
