Introduce yourself and share some of your hobbies.

Hi, I'm Rhonda Lim from eCommerce Expo Asia. I'm the Senior Event Manager there. What I normally do outside of work is I occasionally indulge myself into singing sessions. So I can go long hours of singing, just to distress and enjoy myself.

What is your favourite part about your role as Senior Event Manager?

My favourite part of the role is a struggle between two, I guess. Personally, I think I prefer working closely with my client so it's client relationships, where I kind of help them solve their issues or provide them a solution to fit their problems but I'm in Events for a reason. I think that onsite execution in terms of making a successful event gives me the kind of achievement that I want and the kind of excitement that I need.

Use one word to describe last year's show.

I will say insightful. It boils down to having insights in terms of what is your objective right like market research, you need insights about how the market sentiments are, regarding your product, it's about insights of like a consumer demand if your product is in trend or in need at the moment. You get insights about knowledge on what's the latest trends You learn from experts and stuff like that so I think one word insight

Why do you think eCommerce professionals should come for eCommerce Expo Asia?

For show wise, I guess, large trade shows provide a lot of different objectives, I would say. So, one is like I've mentioned before market research you probably will find easier market research in terms of being in a trade show because that's where all your consumers or your competitions are. Secondly, I think lead generation. So it includes like, it's important for your lead generation. It's important for your market knowledge. It's important for any big activities that you are trying to do within your space, such as like a product launch.
