How do you envision the development and growth of Asia's eCommerce industry in the next 5 years?eCommerce continues to thrive in Asia, driven by major platforms that offer a vast array of affordable products. However, the next significant shift in this industry will be the increasing consumer awareness of sustainability, both in terms of the products they purchase and the logistics involved in eCommerce. This evolving consumer mindset will compel eCommerce companies to make critical decisions about their priorities, balancing the emphasis on sustainability with the acceptable levels of waste and cost. As a result, businesses must strategically navigate these challenges to meet the growing demand for eco-friendly practices while maintaining profitability. Why should eCommerce professionals attend your speaking session?My eCommerce expertise is all about the supply chain. I’ve been a supply chain planner during the online shopping surge, and as a consultant, I’ve crafted strategies for longtail assortments and product life cycles from a supply chain perspective. I’ve also devised strategies for managing the flow of goods—whether incoming, outgoing, or returning—while balancing cost and availability. From simple Excel hacks to implementing complex supply chain tools, I’ve helped companies streamline their operations. My presentation will provide an understanding of how AI is aiding to improve supply chain management. We’ll tackle common supply chain challenges and uncover how AI can be the game-changer needed to address the more complex issues.
